I posted a request in the forums, but just in case you don't read them, i'm putting it her too.

The Guest art up today is from Zane, he doesn't have his own website yet, I work with his mom, and got to meet him the other day. He's just starting out, but i think he has promise.

I know, i wouldn't have believed it either, i actually managed to do a real strip. I wanted to try to do something completely with my tablet, an ancient thing made by CIC like 10 years ago and long since abandoned by them, luckily another company, GTCO CalComp, is still writing drivers for it, or i'd be totally s.o.l. as the original drivers don't work with anything beyond win95. But i digress. I may end up going back to a normal 3 frame strip like the one you see above. The massive ones look nifty, but they don't convey any more info, and it just seems like wasted space to me.

Couple of nifty things to mention, the forums have moved, so now they're at TWC. Also, I'm currently working on another website, it will be a showcase for new comic artist, it's almost done, but, because of the work i'm putting into it, you get crappy filler here. I'm really sorry, but it should stop after the 1st of the year. If anybody out there would like to do a guest strip for dwight of hand in the meantime, it would really help keep things on track so drop me a line.

oh, and if you do your own strip, and would like to have a comic appear on Strippers Corner(that new site) send an e-mail here
The guidelines are really simple, file no bigger than 250k(but try to keep it under 150k) and it shouldn't be more than 900x1000 pixel big. Aside from that, it's a free for all, just a way to promote your site.

guess what! i think i might just be going bowling tonight!
I realize of course that no one else in the world actually thinks something like this is as cool as i do, but when your as boring and anti-social as i am, it means something.
I actually used to be social, but since i got married, i just never seem to leave the house anymore. I need other people to get me outside, and as my wife hates people even more than i do, this just hasn't happened lately.

once again, sorry for the filler on friday, i was just to out of it last week. Well, that and i've finally gotten around to playing Final Fantasy IX again, i stopped midway through disk 2 about 3 months ago, and just started again, and i can never get around to doing much else when i'm plating it. Oh well, i should have a new comic up this friday, and i should be able to keep them coming for at least the next few weeks or so.

I think you might be able to see where this is going. anyways, in personal news, Henry Rollins will be doing a show at UAA on thursday and i'm so fucking jazzed. If you've never heard one of his spoken word shows your really missing out, and it's extra cool since it's actually a local show. No One ever fricken comes up here, they're all like screw alaska and their polar bears and stuff. Oh, sometimes they say they'll show up, then cancel at the last minute, and they say they're coming back, just to screw with us, just to make us believe. And they don't come back. well, actually, STP came back, but it was like 5 years later.

In other news, as soon as mspaint series finishes up, i'll be introducing a new charactor, because the band needs a guitar player still, and, sidetracked as the comic has become, it's still about some friends starting a band, only new, it, like life, has become a little more complicated. I'm hoping in the end, this adds more depth to the charactors they otherwise would have had.

i've got good new, and i've got bad news. The good news is that i finished 8 new strips at work today, and they will be posted, monday and friday, for the next 4 weeks. The bad news is i did them at work, in MS Paint. I kinda like them myself, but i'm not really sure what kind of reaction i'll get, or, if i'll get a reaction at all.

i'd like to see a couple of guest comics get done, but, of course, i think i'd need people to read this, in order for them to see that i would like a guest artist to take a whack at it. kind of self defeating.

summer company really can keep you way to busy. sorry i didn't do a real strip, the lizard above it a chameleon named francy (i think) that, when finished, will probibly be the main charactor of a childrens book i hope to illustrate.

Well, summer is finally really here in Alaska. The suns up most of the time, and it's cloudy only slightly less of that time.

Luckily, it was sunny all this weekend, i got out, BBQ'd sat on the grass and read. i even took a little road trip down to seward. yeah.

So, umm, yeah. i am so fricken tired. umm, if you've never replaced a battery in a powerbook 520, you should try that, it's a very engaging experience. This is the PRAM battery i'm talking about BTW. sorry if this gets jumbled, but i'm really tired, but also really want to tell you how increadably evil the design of the PB520 is.

See, the thing is this, When you pull out the regular battery, you can see where the PRAM battery goes. you can freaken SEE IT. but can you change it from there? Hell No. You have take apart the entire f*&^ing machine. I think the only thing you don't have to remove is the CPU daughter card. but everything else, comes out. To give you but a small idea how bad it really is, you have to completely remove the floppy drive so you can get to a screw, so you can take the top of the case off.

i still don't think i'm making any sense. oh well, hope you like today's strip. have fun and all that.

Ok, looks like the new strip is up. well actually, it was up yesterday.

but anyway. i think i said something about Rez yesterday, and i really need to say more. let me start with my biggest problem, i don't have a PS2, i only have a Dreamcast. Why is this a problem? because Rez was only released in the US for PS2. Even though it was developed for Dreamcast, and even released in Europe and Asia, we here in the good old U.S. of A. only get the PS2 version. Thank the Gods for imports. or, to say it better, thank the gods for friends who run off and buy imports and let you borrow them for indeffinit amounts of time.

but i digress

Res is simply beautiful. really, it is. the graphics are kinda simple, almost tron-like, although they do get more complex over time, they still have that 80's computer graphic look to them, the stuff that took 3 days to render 2 frames. it almost kind of reminded me of the CG sequences in lawnmower man, and i mean this in a good way.

in other news, apparently we can't trust dolphins now either

Hot damn, apparently i made it into the first update of KeenLace, the collection of keenspace comics in their undies. The 1st one is of Dwight, and eventually a cute one of Casey will go up to. The site's maintained by Sylvan from A God's Life so, yeah, props and all that.

Looks like Briworld finally got the hell off geocities and i couldn't be happier, it's funny stuff, but geocities in a baine to all that is good in this world.

i really don't have anything else to say, but it doesn't seem like i've said anything at all. oh well, i'm gonna go read Ranma 1/2

I went out and bought Jedi Knight II, and damn the online version rocks my ass. The Duel is just the coolest friken thing since sliced bread. one on one with a hoard of people waiting and watching for the kill. The single player mode is pissing me off though cause i haven't gotten far enuff to get my force powers and i want my GD light saber MF. All this gaming has had the added enjoyment of nostromo n50 i picked up. mucho better than my keyboard. i like.

i know it's out of season, but i'm listening to Alices Restaurant, the 18 minute version. and damn, does it ever keep going and going. i actually finished a pic i'm doing for keenlace, keenspaces answer to bikeeni summer. it's kinda lame, but hey, i'm still getting this whole drawing thing down.

In other news, i've been playing the Jedi Knight II:Jedi Outcast Demo non stop for 2 days, i'm buying it as soon as i get paid. I've beaten the demo level using only the lightsaber and jedi powers on every level but the hardest. i'm actually going to stop now so i can go play some more.

ok, so i saw episode II yesterday, but, since everyone and their mother is writing about it already, i'm gonna tell you about the movie i saw the night before, About A Boy.

My wife dragged me to a special showing cause she got free tickets from work. and as the light go down and i see all the other poor bastards out in the crowd, dragged off to another stupid chick flick, all i'm thinking about is ways i can fake my own death to get the hell out before the crying starts.

And yet, somehow, i liked it. it was about a guy. the kind of guy i'd love to be. no job, trust fund, drives fast cars, watched TV takes baths, plays pool, and get his hair professionally disheveld for 2 hour by a hot stylist. He goes to single parent support groups and lies about having kids to hook up. And does some woman sweep in to change him? Hell No. He's changed by the boy, the one the title refers to. This is actually a father/son movie, shit, i'd have never know, hell, if i wasn't married, i'd have never gone. but it was a good movie, it as funny, it was touching, it had monkeys.

I wanna make a quick note about some stuff i found on the Real Life forums, a couple of new web comics that are pretty damn cool, they'll be on the links page(with nifty banner when they make them) from now on. but for now, they be: BriWorld, Memoirs of a Bored Student, and Underscore all definately worth a read if you ask me. Of course, no one actually reads this thing, so, it's not like i'll be generating any traffic for them, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right. Anyway, today marks a return to the old comics that have been revamped, but, as i've said before, nobody read them then either, so they still have that new car smell. i have been working on new scripts though, so everything should be smooth sailing, i've got like a month worth of scripts and i just need to get the art done.

If anyone is actually out there, and actually read this far down, don't forget to send me hate mail so i know your out there.

Oddly enuff, this is actually a brand new strip, saturday i was playing with illustrator and this sort of came out. i was thinking of just adding it to the end, but since i cut one of the original strips(it really sucked) i had a emtpy space, and so, well, here it is. On a more personal note, i got a new bike, it's a cheap ass royal union, but as menchioned, it was cheap, only $90. I hope to ride lots and knock like 30 pounds off my fat ass.

Well kids, this here is the first strip. For those of you who actually
visited the old site i did a little clean up on it so it's only kinda new
but really, we're talking about like 3 people here, so no biggy. As for
everybody else, welcome, I hope you enjoy the show. Everything should work,

first 9 comics have been done for about 4 months now(except some minor clean

Wow, i finally got around to getting this thing up on Keen, hot damn.
